During the last Data Governance Council meeting, it was announced that new council members will soon join the group. These new members were added to assist with the governance program’s vision to develop clear practices and processes that support data-informed decision-making at UCF.

The newly appointed members have extensive experience in budgeting, security, reporting, and data management.

Davina Desnoes, Senior Assistant VP of Budget Planning and Analysis, oversees the University’s operating budget and the development of associated policies and procedures.

Kimberley Thrash, Privacy Compliance Director, brings expertise in security and privacy regulations.

Michelle Parente, AIP Enterprise Data and BI Manager, brings expertise in Business Intelligence architecture, warehouse management, and data analytics.

Douglas Baker, Enterprise Report Writer IV, brings Workday finance and human resources data reporting expertise.

Their contributions are expected to help shape new use cases, provide feedback, and guide plans for future data governance initiatives. The new members will attend the next Data Governance Council meeting on June 2, 2025.
