February 2026 Update: The PMP decommission date has been extended. A new timeline will be released soon.
Analytics and Integrated Planning is preparing to update the SAS software that supports some reporting applications. Currently, the Pegasus Mine Portal (PMP) operates on a legacy platform that is no longer supported by SAS within the M9 environment. As a result, PMP has been formally slated for decommissioning in Summer 2026.
Phased Transition Begins This Fall
The decommissioning will follow a phased approach, designed to minimize disruption and ensure continuity. Beginning Fall 2025, users will start seeing redirects for each component of the Pegasus Mine Portal. These redirects will guide users to replacement reports and tools that have been determined to match the functionality of the original system. Recognizing that transitions can be complex, the following feedback resource will be available: if a replacement report doesn’t meet your needs, users will be able to submit a data request, ensuring that no critical functionality is lost in the shuffle.
Gap Analysis Underway
The AIP team will conduct a thorough gap review during late Fall 2025 through early Spring 2026, evaluating feedback and refining replacements. By late Spring 2026, most components of the Pegasus Mine Portal should have a corresponding replacement in place.
Looking Ahead
With the final decommissioning slated for the end of Summer 2026, users are encouraged to begin familiarizing themselves with the replacement reports and participate actively in the feedback process to ensure a smooth transition.
Stay tuned for more updates as the phased rollout begins this Fall.
