AIP announced a new timeline for retiring the Pegasus Mine Portal (PMP), changing the system’s planned sunset from 2026 to Fall 2027. This shift reflects the vendor’s extended support for the legacy platform that PMP relies on.
While the long‑term goal remains unchanged (PMP will still be fully retired) the new timeline is designed to ensure a more deliberate and well‑supported transition. The extended window will allow functional and departmental reporting needs to be fully addressed before the legacy system is shut down.
Work on transitioning reports and supporting users will continue throughout the extended timeline. Upcoming communications will outline new milestones, guidance for custom PMP reports, and training resources for the new reporting tools.
