AIP’s Pegasus Mine Portal (PMP) sunset project has reached several important milestones as efforts continue toward the platform’s planned retirement in Fall 2027. Since the project was launched, the team has focused on understanding the current landscape and ensuring that essential reporting capabilities are preserved and enhanced in future resources. One of the project’s major milestones has now been completed: the identification and inventory of all reports currently housed within PMP and RDS.
Following the inventory process, report information was distributed to stakeholders across the University for review. Stakeholders were asked to provide feedback on report usage, including how frequently reports are accessed and who relies on them to support their work. The feedback collected is helping the project team better understand reporting needs and prioritize resources for the transition.
As part of the review effort, reports identified as no longer needed have been compiled and shared with stakeholders for confirmation before retirement decisions are finalized. At the same time, AIP is exploring options for the user experience and report delivery model that will support reporting after the PMP sunset. The goal is to make it easier for users to locate and access the information they need while leveraging enhanced visualization and analytics capabilities.
Additional updates will be shared as stakeholder review activities are completed and plans for replacement reporting solutions continue to evolve. For more information visit the PMP sunset project webpage.
